The following warm welcome is a message from Lynn regarding this Sunday's Soup Run. Enjoy!
Welcome to the first Soup Group in Bellingham!
We have marked some pretty beautiful routes for you to run. The colors are a bit different: 4 miles is green, 6 miles is orange, 10 miles is yellow and 12 miles is blue. There will be an 8 mile run this Sunday as well. Please see Joe as your group leader for this run. Please check in at the house to discuss routes, look at maps, and discuss modifications if you desire to run shorter. The routes are all loops and easy to follow, we just made maps in case there are questions.
Please park on the lake side of the street preferably after you have passed the house. (Look for the gazebo, that is our home.) We live on a dead end street. The neighbors are alright with parking.
We look forward to seeing you Sunday!
Check in here for details about weekly group runs. Spring through Fall activities include Monday night trails in Hopedale, Wednesday night track, Thursday night trails in Uxbridge, and a variety of weekend running options. Then stick with us in the winter for the very popular Soup Runs!

" ...... I wanted to say to everyone in the club who hasn't done one of the soup runs to give it a try!
We did our first one last week - had been hesitant because we both are nursing injuries and going slow, but we went with Jill's walk-run group and did some running, some walking and it worked out fine. It is SO much easier to get out there in the cold when there is a group.
Love the soup idea, too. Nothing like hot soup on a cold day and the camaraderie of relaxing after a run with a bunch of running friends. I'm not sure whose idea it was to start these runs, but it's one of the best things the club has done."

The soup and fellowship that follow each run are as enjoyable as the run. This has been a great opportunity to pick up many tips from more experienced runners as well as a time to enjoy camaraderie with fellow runners. I could not say enough about the wonderful group of people I have had the great pleasure to meet through joining TVFR.
